At the bottom of that post I've got an updated list of all expected signees. There's currently 21 of them.
A few notes also, folks. CB Chavez Pownell, from Tampa, is expected to make his decision at 4 pm, so right after this ends. He visited Wyoming a few weeks ago, so the Pokes are somewhere on his short list. Check Twitter for that.
Also, I'll have a blog post going throughout the day tomorrow where I update each signee as the national letters of intent come in. So check Trib.com/extrapokes throughout the day.
I've been providing bios, stats and videos for all the guys who committed over the last few weeks. Check my blog for more on that.
I think they did a decent job for the most part. One major need was DBs, and while they didn't get many at first they've come on strong in that area of late. I believe they only got one DT, which is tough. But luckily they have Mertens coming back. They also didn't sign a true FB, but I suspect several current guys could make the transition.
There hasn't been an official announcement on that, but since we saw Cowgirls Under Armour unis that could be the way they're going. It's been Nike up to this point, obviously.
He's officially down to Colorado and Wyoming, but I get the sense since he has waited this long we won't hear the announcement until tomorrow. That would be Wyoming's first 3-star guy on Rivals.
I'd be pleasantly surprised if Wyoming got him, though he did say he had a "fantastic" official visit. Depends on if he really wants to play for his dad. Also, Wyoming may let him try out at QB. More likely he'll be a safety, though.
What else, guys? Not many comments flowin' my way today.
Not sure, but I imagine they'll be unified. I'm not an expert on uniforms, though. Maybe Bohl will comment on that tomorrow.
3 pm MT, open to the public at the Wildcatter Club Suites attached to War Memorial Stadium.
He'll hold his press conference, announce the signees and show highlight videos of all the guys. Should be a fun show.
Going to be tough without Adams. He shut down Kendall Williams in the last game, and they're going to miss his athleticism. Because of that, Granberry may be matched against guards and the front court will be even thinner. Cooke and Nance will both have to have good games to match Bairstow, Kirk.
Not yet, but that's scheduled for this week. Stay tuned. Sounds like he's doing a heck of a job so far.
Yes, the press conference will be streamed at gowyo.com. Though I heard they had a bunch of streaming glitches during Bohl's introductory presser. Hopefully that's all fixed.
A lot of them were, and that makes sense. Recruiting is a year-long process, so in most cases it's best if you've been talking to a recruit and scouting him for a year. Because of that, the coaching staff pulled in a lot of guys they'd already been targeting.
Well, at least something has worked for you guys. I'll also be live tweeting everything, but I get that that's hardly the same experience.
Oooh, me too Chase. Will be a lot of fun. You don't often see four or five guys enter a race on even footing, but that's the case right now.
The good news, for Young, Kirkegaard and Thornton, is that they'll have the spring to learn the playbook. That's a big advantage on Smith and Fort.
Definitely, hopefully the stream holds up for everybody.
There's been a few guys I've liked a lot. They just got Robert Priester, a Florida speedster who also had a Utah State offer. He's an excellent athlete and will help their secondary.
I also like Alex Bush. Tough linebacker, nasty attitude.
