Jack's in Gillette (vs. NC), and Sisco is in Douglas (vs. SV). Bill, Kyle, Austin and myself are in the office to cover the rest of the state.

2A: Mountain View 14, Thermop 6
1A: Cokeville 39, Southeast 7
Both advance to their respective championship games in Laramie.
6man: Meeteetse 31, Guernsey 0, end 1Q
Coming up at 6p: East-Sheridan (4A) and Big Horn-Lovell (2A). Everything else is a 7p kick.
Some state championship games have seemed inevitable since mid-September ... Powell vs. Douglas in 3A and Cokeville vs. Lusk in 1A/11-man being the prime examples.
By the way, I'm at Camel Stadium waiting for the 7 p.m. kickoff between Natrona and Gillette. Crisp, clear night ... perfect night for football.
It's certainly played out that way.
Mr. Schmiedt - thanks for joining us again!
And... Midwest is a 6 p.m. kick too. Oilers represent.
Homemade chili in the press box ... it's like they knew I was coming.

Midwest-Dubois is underway. Oilers have the ball at their own 35 to start their first drive.
Midwest goes 3 and out on its first drive, but the punt goes out of bounds at the 8. Rams have a long field ahead of them.
Touchdown Dubois! Sterling Baker a 14-yard run.
Kick sails wide. 6:52 1Q, Dubois 6, Midwest 0.
Can't get any Lovell-Big Horn sound to work.
Cam Ray a big run for Midwest! Oilers are inside Dubois' 20.
